Third-party services may also use their own cookies or technologies subject to their own policies.

3. Principles of Use

Where Cookies or similar technologies process Personal Data, processing will be handled in accordance with an applicable lawful basis and the Layarva Privacy Policy.

Cookies technically required to provide requested functionality may be used for service delivery, security, authentication, or another lawful purpose.

  • account security;
  • CSRF protection;
  • load balancing;
  • fraud or abuse prevention;
  • storing Cookie consent status;

  • layout choices; or
  • other settings.

If a User uses Google Sign-In or another Google feature, Google may use its own cookies or authentication mechanisms for login or authorization.

Layarva's use of information obtained through Google APIs is described in the Layarva Privacy Policy.

This Cookie Policy does not expand the Google permissions granted by a User.

7. Local Storage and Session Storage

Layarva may use localStorage or sessionStorage for:

  • UI preferences;
  • application state;
  • session-related state;
  • cached metadata;
  • security; or
  • other technical functions.

sessionStorage generally expires when the browser session or tab closes. localStorage may remain until removed by the application, User, or browser.

Where cookies store authentication tokens, safeguards may include:

  • Secure;
  • HttpOnly;
  • SameSite;

  • other appropriate security controls.

Actual implementation may change as the architecture and security model evolve.
